How it works

Your monthly payment uses the standard amortization formula: M = P × r(1+r)n / ((1+r)n − 1), where P is the loan amount, r the monthly rate, and n the number of payments. Total interest is all payments minus principal; the origination fee is added on top for your true total cost.

Estimates only — not a loan offer. Actual terms depend on credit, revenue history, collateral, and lender policies.

Frequently asked questions

How do business loan rates work?

Rates are set from your credit profile, business revenue, time in business, and collateral. Stronger profiles earn lower rates; riskier borrowers pay more. Fixed-rate loans keep the same payment for the whole term.

Shorter or longer term — which is better?

Shorter terms mean higher monthly payments but far less total interest. Longer terms ease cash flow but cost much more overall. Compare both above and pick the shortest term your monthly budget can handle.

SBA loan vs. bank loan — what's the difference?

SBA-backed loans typically offer lower rates and longer terms but take weeks or months to close with heavy paperwork. Conventional bank loans close faster but usually carry higher rates and stricter requirements. This calculator works for either once you have the numbers.
